Job Description: Upstream Process Development
Sun Pharma is looking for a skilled Biotechnology/Biochemistry professional with expertise in Upstream Process Development for its R&D division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with 2L, 5L bioreactors, shake flasks, media, and feed screening.
- Work on Mammalian/Microbial fermentation processes in an R&D or MS&T environment.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize cell culture/fermentation processes for improved yield and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process scale-up and tech transfer.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- M.Tech/M.Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry or related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in upstream bioprocessing.
- Proficiency in operating bioreactors (2L, 5L), shake flasks, and media optimization.
- Knowledge of mammalian/microbial cell culture techniques.
- Familiarity with GLP, cGMP, and bioprocess scale-up is a plus.
